When I think of cooking...
When I think of cooking, I think of all the comforts of home filled with good food bringing family and friends together for times and conversations that are remembered when those moments are long gone. Often, we look forward to the next get together. When the food is good, people frequently forget their worries leading to a time with less stress and more happiness. You know those visits where guests often get up every couple hours and snack on good cooking.
When I think of cooking, I think of my travels and getting ready for a trip where I will dine out at restaurants with good food and amazing views. My favorite views are on the water. The best drives are where I can see the stars in a dark, night sky for miles without any city lights. The best sceneries are in the mountains with those one-street shops boasting an array of jarred jams and jellies to get lost in with fresh, farm-grown vegetables to sell to the customers on street carts. The smell of the mountain air with the coldest water from snow-peaked rivulets flowing downstream feeding the land that grows the fruits and vegetables to have the finest pick of the ripe food is simply amazing and something we can improve over time as human beings, but cannot create in mother nature ourselves.
I am inspired from cultures of the world to create my dishes with flavor fusion...
where East meets West...
to following time honored recipes of traditional Pakistani cuisine...
where good chicken wings mean offering multiple flavors beyond barbecue...
to Mediterranean cuisine that goes farther than wings with olive oil and light flavor that satisfies the
appetite.
I am constantly adding to my menu these days as I develop a launch for January 2022 on Shef.com that will offer meal prep and delivery of menu items to customers' homes.
I also offer catering for special events at home, a banquet hall, or corporate office parties.
