Halal is a term of a requirement to prepare the meat with HALAL standards a step up above Kosher also referred to as Zibbiya. For those who don't know, HALAL starts with the slaughtering of the meat at the neck of the animal forbidding eating meat slaughtered in any other manner so as to eliminate the chance of consuming meat that would make a person sick. The meat is hug upside down after slaughtering to drain the blood to remove impurities that can make a person sick. Thirdly, the meat is then cut up in portions to cook and serve after washing. It is then delivered to butchers who further prepare the cuts of meat. It is purchased at HALAL stores where meat and the surfaces of the butcher and cutting or slicing machines never come in contact with pig or pork so that the meat remains HALAL. After purchasing the meat as a customer, it is taken home and washed again before preparing in a fat with some sort of heat to cook the meat to safe temperatures. The oil used to cook the meat also never comes in contact with pig or pork. The entire process from before cooking to after cooking remains HALAL.
HALAL is known as a safe, healthy, nutritious way of preparing meat for cooking and many who are not required to eat only HALAL meat also agree with its standards as safe and healthy so that there are many people who benefit from HALAL meat preparation throughout the world. You can read more about HALAL, if interested, simply by searching the internet with the word HALAL and reading through the search results for which results you find interesting.
