This year has grown me with my understanding of my food business. I also developed my menu after changes with Shef delivery. Shef closed their Dallas hubs meaning I had to adopt to a new work environment for my Shef menu and website to be a success. My cooked foods had to be delivered for FREE in DALLAS with new delivery partners. This is something I am glad I could continue to offer so that my customers would not have to pay delivery fees to get their food. Shef also let their drivers and staff go. So, I had to step up my game in ads online with social media to get business. The staff didn't place ads for us Shefs as Shef of the Week like before and my business took a loss in the Ramadan month after the change was made by the Shef company. But business picked up! Always something to be thankful for! And I can say I am now doing well for what I want in sales volume weekly.
I am delivering larger orders, catering, offering a weekly menu, and branching out to CUPCAKES HALAL for desserts that are halal and kosher with gelatin-free products for desserts and I am also on Instagram @CupcakesHalal!
Next year is a brand-new year with plans for catering small parties, engagements, and events for Desi Households and those that love South Asian cuisine for themed parties!
A cafe with bakery for lunch and dinner items, desserts, and artisan breads is in the works! As always, you can expect everything on the menu to be either 100% HALAL or 100% VEG for my vegetarian customers!
